Trust by design

Evidence before confidence.

Eecho ICC helps Canadian businesses organize compliance and trade work. It is not a regulator, customs broker, accountant or law firm, and it does not replace advice based on your complete facts.

Source provenance

Material records retain the responsible authority, official URL, verification state and review date. Starting points and directory records are labelled separately from verified database records.

Decision boundaries

Results identify sources, dates and practical review actions. Users should confirm material decisions with the responsible authority or an appropriate adviser.

Account and data protection

Authentication is provided by Supabase. User records use row-level access controls; evidence files are private, user-scoped, size- and type-restricted, and opened with short-lived signed links.

Operational safeguards

Billing stays disabled unless checkout links, price mappings and webhook secrets are configured. Email monitoring stays disabled unless provider and scheduler secrets are present.

Known limitations

  • Coverage is selective and does not yet include every tariff line, origin rule, licence, country requirement or regulatory change.
  • Fallback market directories are starting points, not country-specific determinations.
  • Automated suggestions may miss exceptions, local rules, classification facts or recent changes.
  • Some official-source datasets and live content are currently available in English only.
